DFW AIRPORT
Project Details
The Terminal Renovation and Improvement Project was an entire overhaul of the airport. Terminal B took 5 years to complete. The length of the project was due to the extensive demo and make safe, as it was a phased project with numerous critical systems to stay live. We installed terminated and tested over 2.5 million feet of category cable. Installed an entirely new air blown redundant fiber backbone for security and the communication rooms.
Along with all the data installed, we mounted all the flight, gate and information displays.
Lantek was also responsible for the projects leading up to the Terminal Renovations, installing the entire backbone fiber infrastructure to each terminal from the Central Utility Plant in the middle of the airport. Then building out every DFW MDF and IDF room in Terminal A, B, C and E.
