Systems Programmer
Role Overview
The Systems Programmer will be responsible for the programming and commissioning of the various systems of assigned projects, including control systems, digital signal processors, digital signage systems and complex video wall systems. This role is a combination field and office role, and is client facing.
Principal Responsibilities

Review SOW (Scope of Work) and contract documents. Communicate with the sales/design team to thoroughly understand client expectations regarding flow and functionality.

Communicate with the Project Manager to understand project phasing, timing and scheduling expectations. Collaborate with PM and purchasing teams to ensure you have adequate time for test lab programming, testing and burn in.

Provide GUI (Graphical User Interface) mockups to Project Manager for signoff from end user prior to system programming.

Participate in job kick off meetings.

Program and commission control systems, digital signal processors, graphical user interfaces and various other systems.

In collaboration with the Project Manager, provide end user training.
Required Skill Sets

Crestron control system experience. Advanced certifications are preferred.

Experience, familiarity with and certification on other control systems, specifically including Extron and AMX preferred.

Experience with programming and tuning audio systems in both a live performance and office environment.

Experience programming QSC, Biamp and BSS DSP’s. Advanced certifications preferred. Other DSP programming experience would also be advantageous.
Education and Experience

Minimum 5 years AV experience required.

Minimum 2 years programming experience required.

Formal education in Electronics or related field is preferred.

Valid driver’s license is required.
